Dayton, TX – One person was killed Wednesday afternoon in a train collision in Dayton, according to officials.
The fatal collision happened around 12:58 p.m. on April 29 on County Road 621.
Officials said a train collided with a vehicle on the train tracks.
A person in the vehicle was trapped and had to be extricated. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released.
The authorities are investigating the collision.
