One Injured in San Angelo Two-Vehicle Crash at Koenigheim Street and W Ave B
San Angelo, Texas – One person was injured on Friday in a two-vehicle crash in San Angelo, according to the San Angelo Police Department.
The crash happened around lunchtime, on May 24, at the intersection of S Koenigheim Street and W Ave B near the entrance to the San Angelo Visitors Center.
Police said a Dodge pickup was traveling northbound in the middle lane while a Buick SUV was traveling northbound in the left lane. The Dodge attempted to make a left turn from the middle lane and struck the SUV.
The force of the impact pushed the SUV off the roadway where it struck a utility pole, struck a guardrail, and knocked over a sign.
The SUV driver was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The Dodge driver was cited for the improper turn.
The police are investigating the crash.
