Castroville, TX. – A 72-year-old man was killed in a car crash on Saturday morning in Castroville.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident occurred on U.S. 90 near Private Road 4620 at around 11 a.m.
A Toyota pickup truck driven by a 72-year-old man was eastbound when it crossed into the westbound lanes, and collided with an oncoming SUV and a truck tractor-trailer.
The driver of the pickup truck was ejected from the vehicle and succumbed to his injuries.
Two occupants of the SUV were taken to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
