Two Injured in San Antonio Go-Kart Crash on Hackberry Street near Linda Lou Drive
San Antonio, Texas – Two people were injured Friday night in a go-kart crash in San Antonio, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
The crash happened around 9:40 p.m., May 31, on Hackberry Street near Linda Lou Drive.
Police said a 17-year-old boy and a 33-year-old man were driving go-karts on the street when an oncoming Jeep which was turning left crashed into them.
The 17-year-old boy was taken to University of Texas Hospital in serious but stable condition.
The 33-year-old walked away from the scene but he later checked himself in at a hospital with a minor, non-life-threatening injury.
The Jeep driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
The Traffic Investigation Division (TID) is investigating the crash.
