Two Injured in Laredo Two-Vehicle Crash on Loop 20 and McPherson
Laredo, Texas – Two people were injured Wednesday afternoon in a rollover crash in Laredo, according to the Texas DPS.
The crash happened just before 4:00 p.m., May 22, on Loop 20 and McPherson.
DPS said a trooper noticed several suspected undocumented individuals getting into a Hyundai vehicle near Father McNaboe Park and pursued the vehicle.
At the same time, a Border Patrol vehicle and a Chevrolet Cruiser collided. It was unclear if the Border Patrol agent was responding to the call associated with the undocumented people.
The Border Patrol agent and a 36-year-old man who was found near the scene were taken to Doctors Hospital in stable condition.
Three undocumented migrants were detained.
The authorities are conducting the investigation.
