Man Seriously Injured in Navasota Bicycle Accident on State Highway 6
Navasota, Texas – A bicyclist was seriously injured Thursday morning in a crash in Navasota, according to the Texas DPS.
The crash happened around 8:25 a.m., May 23, on State Highway 6.
DPS said a man was riding a bicycle northbound on the right-hand shoulder of the highway when he attempted to cross over to the left shoulder and rear-ended a trailer.
The bicyclist was flown to CHI St. Joseph Regional Hospital with suspected serious injuries.
No additional information was available.
The DPS is investigating the crash.
