Brittany Torres Killed in Canyon Pedestrian Accident on 10th Avenue
Canyon, Texas – A woman was fatally hit by an intoxicated driver early Monday morning in Canyon, according to the Canyon Police Department.
The deadly accident happened around 1:05 a.m., in the 1900 block of 10th Avenue.
Police said 28-year-old Ulise DeLao struck 27-year-old Brittany Torres who was standing outside of the vehicle.
Torres was pronounced dead at the scene.
DeLao was arrested for intoxication manslaughter.
The Canyon Police Department is investigating the crash.
