Midland, TX – A woman was killed early Monday morning in a pedestrian accident in Midland, according to the police.
The deadly accident happened around 2:45 a.m. on August 11, 2025, in the 2100 block of West Loop 250 North.
Police said a 2022 International truck was traveling in the outside eastbound lane.
Flora Hernandez, 36, of Midland, was standing in the travel lane, and the truck swerved in an attempt to avoid hitting her but was unable to and ended up striking her.
Hernandez died in the accident.
No further details were provided.
The police are investigating the accident.
