San Antonio, TX – A worker was killed Tuesday afternoon in a construction accident in San Antonio’s South Side, according to the deputies.
The fatal accident was reported around 1:44 p.m. on March 3 in the 21400 block of Applewhite Road.
Deputies said workers were building a retaining wall when it collapsed on a man.
The man was trapped under a large amount of dirt, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
No other information was available.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
