Jim Wells County, TX – One person is dead following a two-vehicle accident in Jim Wells County Wednesday morning, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The deadly collision happened just before 7 a.m. at the intersection of State Highway 359 and Farm to Market Road 1539, south of Orange Grove.
The Texas Department of Public Safety confirmed that one person was killed in the accident.
The DPS said Highway 359 has been shut down for a few hours as officers investigate the collision.
Reports indicate that the area where the accident occurred is very foggy. However, it is not clear if the fog was a factor in the incident.
An investigation is underway.
