Peggy Dreher Killed in Round Rock Train Crash on Interstate 35 near McNeil Drive
Round Rock, Texas – The person who was killed Wednesday morning in a train crash in Round Rock has been identified as Peggy Dreher, 76, according to the Round Rock Police Department.
The deadly accident happened around 11:00 a.m., on May 15, on Interstate 35 near McNeil Drive.
Police said Dreher was driving an SUV when she collided with an Amtrak train.
Dreher was pronounced dead at the scene.
No one onboard the train was injured in the crash.
The crash closed the Interstate 35 frontage roads on both the northbound and southbound sides near McNeil Road.
No additional information was available.
The police are investigating the crash.
