San Antonio, TX – A 42-year-old woman was critically injured Thursday night in a pedestrian accident in San Antonio, according to the police.
The accident happened at about 8:07 p.m. on March 5 in the 1000 block of Southeast Military Drive.
Police said the woman was crossing the roadway northbound with a shopping cart, outside of a designated crosswalk, when she was struck by an eastbound vehicle.
The woman was taken to the hospital with major injuries.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
The police are investigating the accident.
