Killeen, TX – A 43-year-old man was killed Monday afternoon in a pedestrian accident in Killeen, according to the police.
The deadly accident happened around 2:22 p.m. on March 30 in the 18800 block of SH 195.
Police said Jerry Wayne Craigo was walking southbound along the shoulder of the highway when he was struck from behind by a gray 2022 Chevrolet pickup.
Craigo was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Chevrolet driver was uninjured in the accident.
No additional details were provided.
The police are investigating the accident.

Police said a 43-year-old man was walking southbound along the shoulder of the highway when he was struck from behind by a gray 2022 Chevrolet pickup.

The Chevrolet driver was uninjured in the accident.
The accident closed the southbound lanes of SH 195 near River Ranch Road. The lanes have since been reopened.
